last friday we had an awesome Churrasco, which is an brazilian BBQ. the funny thing was, that all of us came from a different country. nir the man from the dessert of israel, nadia from hungary, patrick from the netherlands, suzannah from the US, sandra from austria, miguel from brazil, carina from switzerland and me from germany. we ate a lot of vegies, meat, fruits and had lot’s of fun together. at least it cames from the beer,  caipirinha or caipiroska which we made by ourselfs.

the day befor yesterday the instructor team of the skyriders center prea had their day off together. so we and a couple of friends decided to go for some flat water action on a lagoon nearby jeri.

our driver carlos picked us up at 11 am and we went their for the day. around the lagoon are some nice dunes, you have flat water, sandbanks, lots of sun and flying sand. the wind was very strong that  we had to use our 7 m kites.

at  5 pm carlos came back to picks us up and we went back to jeri, where I had a nice dinner at the cafe brazil.

I made a gallery about the trip, you’ll find it here… next time we will take some action pics as well.

finally I made it to Jeri.

after a long trip from hamburg via lissabon to fortaleza I finally made it to brazil. marko picked me up at the airport and told me that we just have to drive at least 4 hours to jericoacoara. in the end my trip was more than 30 hours…and I was really  happy to see a bed.

jeri is build on sand, every street is a sand street and only in the houses and cars you got some hard ground under your feet.

the weather is nice, the first days we had all day long sun and wind. the last days it’s a bit cloudy in the morning, but that’s fine because otherwise you got your brain burned. but for me it’s the best thing that the water is so hot that we just need a boardshort… i’ve never been kiting in boardshorts since my venezuela trip in 2005.

I uploaded some pics in the gallery section, have fun with them… click here!
